These Doctor Terms and Conditions are for practitioners, which we call Doctors or Service Providers who want to join and use the Sanova platform.

When you sign up for Sanova you are agreeing to follow these terms and all the laws that apply.

You have to do what these terms say and also follow the laws of the land.

What Sanova Does

Sanova is a platform that uses technology to bring patients and healthcare providers who work on their own.

Here are some things to know about Sanova:

• Sanova does not give advice or treatment to patients
• Sanova does not hire doctors to work for them
• Sanova does not tell doctors how to make decisions about their patients

Doctors are on their own. They are the only ones responsible for the medical care they give to their patients.

How Doctors Sign Up and Get Verified

So that we can keep the platform safe and trustworthy for patients, all doctors have to give us their credentials, which include:

• Their medical degree certificates
• Their registration number, like the one from the NMC or State Medical Council
• A government-issued ID card

We will check these credentials to make sure they are real, by using sources we trust.

Sanova has the right to:

• Say yes or no to any doctor who wants to join the platform
• Ask for documents if we need them
• Stop a doctor from using the platform if their credentials are not real

How Doctors Get The Sanova Trusted Badge

Doctors who do a job on the platform can get a special badge called the Sanova Trusted Badge. This badge is given to doctors who meet requirements, such as:

• Verified credentials
• Profile completeness
• Consistent service quality
• Compliance with platform standards

Sanova reserves full discretion to grant, remove, or modify this badge at any time.

Doctor Responsibilities

Doctors agree to:

• Provide accurate, updated profile information
• Maintain valid medical licenses at all times
• Deliver professional and ethical medical services
• Ensure patient confidentiality
• Comply with applicable medical laws and telemedicine guidelines
• Avoid misleading claims or false information

Doctors are responsible for the below:

• Diagnosis
• Treatment decisions
• Prescriptions
• Medical advice

Appointment & Availability Management

Doctors are responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate availability schedules
• Attending confirmed appointments
• Informing patients in case of unavailability

Sanova is not responsible for:

• Patient no-shows
• Patient delays
• Patient unavailability
• Appointment cancellations by patients

Doctors must manage such situations independently.

Patient Interaction & Conduct

Doctors agree to:

• Treat patients with professionalism and respect
• Provide proper medical guidance
• Avoid inappropriate, abusive, or unethical behavior

Sanova reserves the right to suspend or remove doctors in case of:

• Misconduct
• Patient complaints
• Ethical violations
• Misleading behaviour

Reviews & Testimonials

Sanova may collect and display preliminary or generic patient testimonials to enhance platform engagement. These testimonials may be moderated or curated by Sanova. Doctors agree that such content may be displayed on their profiles.

Doctors may not:

• Manipulate reviews
• Post fake testimonials
• Misrepresent patient feedback

Fees & Payments

Doctors may be charged platform fees, commissions, or subscription charges (if applicable). Sanova may facilitate payments between patients and doctors.

Sanova is not responsible for:

• Payment disputes between doctors and patients
• Fee disagreements
• Offline transactions

Platform Usage Restrictions

Doctors must not:

• Provide false credentials
• Mislead patients
• Promote unauthorized treatments
• Violate medical ethics
• Use the platform for illegal activities

Violation may lead to: Profile suspension, permanent removal, or legal action.

Suspension & Termination

Sanova reserves the right to suspend or terminate doctor accounts if:

• Verification fails
• Terms are violated
• Complaints are received
• Fraud or misconduct is detected

Doctors may also request account deactivation.

Data & Privacy

Doctors agree that their profile information will be publicly visible and patient interaction data may be stored for platform functionality. Sanova will handle data as per its Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and technology belong to Sanova. Doctors may not copy, reproduce, or misuse platform materials without permission.

Modifications to Terms

Sanova reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata.
